I think this flat would be a good fit for someone working in the city, but would prefer having easy access by train or bicycle to Enoshima and nearby beaches. Kamakura is only 33 minutes away on the quaint Enoden Line.

The building is pet-friendly and located within walking distance of Shinbayashi Park where many folks like to take their dogs for walks.

One major drawback about central Fujisawa is the heavy traffic found on weekends. When I lived in Fujisawa years ago, we would bike to the local department store or supermarket if we did any shopping on weekends. Over the past 20 years, the city has made some effort to establish more bicycle lanes making the city more accessible for the locals who want to avoid the weekend traffic jams of tourists heading for the beaches.
